Spent hours yesterday and today trying to sort this blogging stuff out. Steve jobs said "stay hungry, stay foolish". Well, you definitely don't have time to eat and it ends up driving you mad. So maybe I'm on the right lines now!

Leaving Magellan

27th September 2011 Packing up and moving out day. Cleaner phoned to give me one hour's notice to cancel. 'Is that alright'?NOT. Second cleaner 64 years old with 5 children, 13 grandchildren and a full time carer's job. Gets away with 20 minutes sleep a day and the occasional couple of hours. I was so impressed. She cleaned 98% of the house whilst my saviour Maz and I cleaned out the fridge and fiddled with the mop on the kitchen floor. The downside of Brenda's cleaning became apparent when she cleaned the cold water pipe to the basin in the bathroom. The rust that had been holding it together was polishd off in seconds, and "there is water in the bathroom....Must be a leak somewhere". An emergency plumber joined the removals team, Brenda, Maz, JC and I!
